If you suspect that you may be infected with the virus you must not attend the surgery, call 119 to arrange your test or visit the gov.uk/coronavirus website and follow the online advice.


Choose Well - Illness, Injury or Emergency?

If you are experiencing chest pain or any other life threatening symptoms please ring 999.

Alternatively 111 is a non-emergency number to call out of hours. It is free to call from a landline or a mobile phone. Trained staff will direct your call to the appropriate service.

If you are unsure what level of urgency you need medical assistance for please use our e-consult facility, alternatively visit our minor illnesses page or nhs.uk

Pharmacy - Don't wait until you feel worse, even if it is just a cough or cold, you can consult your pharmacist before it gets more serious. They have trained technicians available to help manage minor illnesses and are available as a first port of call and can advise if you need more urgent medical assistance.

E-Consult

The practice are now accesible via an online facility called E-Consult, this service will enable any patient to make direct contact with the practice through a series of questions and prompts simply by clicking the blue banner below. Patient information, question or general query will be sent direct to the practice via a secure email facility.

Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • Book or cancel appointments online

  • Renew or order repeat prescriptions online

  • View parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found to be more convenient and saves some time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Their aim is to make sure better care is provided for everyone, whether that’s in hospital, in GP Practices, in care homes, in people’s own homes, or elsewhere.
