Welcome to Haltwhistle Medical Group

The Haltwhistle Medical Group is based at the Health Centre on Greencroft Avenue in Haltwhistle.

The building has been fully refurbished and offers a modern, inviting interior, and full access for disabled patients.  All of our consultation rooms are on the ground floor, and guide/hand rails are available along all of our corridors.

The practice doctors are - Dr R Adamson, Dr M Crick, Dr S Davies, Dr C Robertson, Dr S Miller and Dr S.Siddle. We are also a GP Registrar Training Practice so every year we welcome at least one GP Registrar , we most recently welcome to join the practice team Dr Helen Berry.

We work as a team with the Community Midwife, Community Nurses, Practice Nurses, Health Visitors, Podiatrist, School Nurses and CPNs to provide a comprehensive service for the Haltwhistle district. The practice covers an area of 200 square miles and serves around 5,800 patients.  Our website contains lots of information about accessing healthcare services.

Flu vaccinations will be given by pre-booked appointments at the surgery.

There are various appointments bookable during September, October and November to allow times that are convenient for our patients.

Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • Book or cancel appointments online

  • Renew or order repeat prescriptions online

  • View parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found to be more convenient and saves some time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at

We also now have a new Facebook page, this page is designed to keep you up to date with news and information from the practice and nationally. We hope you find our page useful and informative.
